An app to learn and study online with language learning.
This UX Design project involved wireframing and prototyping a low fidelity app using the software Marvel.
This project was the completion piece for a basic course in UX with Career Foundry before starting the 5 month intensive UX Design course that produced Coaching Wizards. It followed the stages of research and definition, design and iteration, prototyping and testing.
This was an excellent learning by doing project where I worked through methods, theory and software. I learned a lot in every area. For example user research showed what people want, competitor analysis showed what was going on, design involved learning and experimenting while creating and testing about how to do it all better and iterate something new and improved.

An online marketing and branding project covering Playmobil, one of the world's most iconic toy ranges.
View and download the German language project by clicking on the Playmobil picture above.
This online marketing project involved research, content, strategy, marketing, channels, communications, SEO, SEA and global approach in order to become a global brand on the level of LEGO.
This project was the completion piece for a basic course in Online Marketing in German with Karriere Tutor.
This was an excellent learning by doing project in my second language where I worked through content and delivery. I was able to use my skills in research and marketing in the online marketing field and really get to grips with an area of interest. In addition I went further to answer my own question – why is Playmobil not on the same global level as LEGO in 2018 and what could they do to change that?
This project was not submitted to Playmobil but I was gratified to see many of my recommendations being implemented over the next 5 years by a new CEO. View the project by clicking on the Playmobil image at the top of this project.

This social media project for the fictional Asia Pacific Vitamin Council was completed during the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate course. It is a low fidelity mockup for an ad.
Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Certification does not have a capstone project, so I am demonstrating course deliverables.
The project approached the issue of vitamin deficiency and malnourishment in poor inner city areas and in areas places where people don't have enough of the right food. It's meant to shock people who are affluent into seeing the work of the Vitamin Council and to warn people not to turn away from fruit and vegetables and vitamins, even though they might not have much money.
The work received interested feedback and discussion by peers. It used an art piece by Basquiat. It is very simple, raw and it is animated as a GIF. It uses art to raise the topic of vitamin deficiency in deprived communities. It was a great first post for learning and using Canva to make something quickly that worked as an animation. Further projects used more professional graphics and my own photos.
This is clearly a health warning post and not something to market a product.
This completed project demonstrates my ability to conceptualise, write and design tough and engaging content that deals with difficult but critical issues. It also demonstrates my approach to brand voice. Social media posts and influencers often only feature perfect lives and places, that has its place, but so does issue posting.
My content involves strong and emotive visual written work that connects with the audience and makes them feel involved and present in a story.
I have 10+ years experience producing successful focused newsletters within organisations. This includes weekly intelligence newsletters for a multicorp and an weekly info and Friends letter for a renowned international school in Berlin, where I was also web admin and content chief editor for 5 years.
